Delivery Company: For the majority of deliveries we use Fastway couriers as they provide a quick and reliable service, complete with a full track and trace system and insurance. As Fastway are a courier service, a signature will be required upon delivery. If no one is available to sign for the package, a card will be left with further instructions. Fastway cannot deliver to post office boxes so if you are unlikely to be home during business hours it may be better to have your order sent to your business address.
Cost and locations of delivery: We deliver to all Australian addresses and are more than happy to deliver internationally. Please contact us regarding a quote for international delivery before placing your order. Alternatively, we offer you the option to pick up your order from our Melbourne address.
A shipping calculator is built in to our site so you will always be able to determine the cost of shipping before purchasing. Our shipping rates are divided into zones and are as follows:
Zone 1: Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart, Launceston, Rest of Victoria - $9.95
Zone 2: NSW coast - $17.95
Zone 3: Brisbane, Perth -$24.95
Zone 4: Rural NSW, Rest of QLD, Rest of SA - $29.95
Zone 5: NT, Rest of WA - $52.80
The above rates apply to all orders of dolls house furniture, doll houses or combined orders.The one exception to this is our Voila Giant Doll House as it is oversized and shipping will need to be calculated by us on request. Please contact us for a shipping quote prior to purchase for this product. If you are purchasing one of our doll family sets separately, we will use Australia Post Parcel Post at a default flat rate of $5 as this is the cheapest way to send these. A signature may still be required, or the item will be available at your local post office and a delivery card will be left in your mailbox.
Timing: With only a few exceptions, all of our doll houses are in stock and will usually be shipped within 48-72 hrs of clearance of payment. Occasionally a dolls house may be out of stock with our suppliers. In this case, we will contact you immediately and will place a priority backorder with the supplier if you wish to continue with the order. The order will be delivered to you as soon as it becomes available, which may occasionally take a few weeks, but we will keep you up to date regularly so that you will always be informed. If you decide that you do not want to wait, we will refund your payment immediately.
Deliveries generally take 2-3 business days from the time of dispatch for Victoria and 3-4 business days for South Australia, Tasmania, ACT and NSW. Deliveries to other major metropolitan areas take approximately 4-5 working days and other regional and remote areas approximately 7-10 days. If for some reason delivery is expected to take beyond these time frames we will inform you and keep you updated.
Returns: We sell only quality, superior made products and thus far have not had any problems with damage. However our suppliers will be happy to replace or provide a refund for any products that are faulty on arrival, if notified within 7 days of dispatch. We do not cover the cost of return postage. If you believe your product is faulty, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the options with you.
