At the Wooden Dolls House, a Hazy Day Enterprises store, we are committed to donating 5% of every profit made to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The funds raised from sales through our website will help Starlight to bring love, laughter and support to seriously ill children and their families throughout Australia.
Our ‘bigger’ goal at the Wooden Dolls House reaches beyond that of selling doll houses. We know that every little recipient of one of our products will have a huge smile and hours of fun whilst playing. By giving to the Starlight Children’s Foundation we have the opportunity to help spread those huge smiles to other children throughout Australia who need it the most. And in this way, you help us take a step towards our bigger goal of giving back to the world.
Starlight relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations and community fundraisers like the Wooden Dolls House to give seriously ill and hospitalised children the opportunity to access and benefit from Starlight’s programs, which help to restore the fun, laughter and joy that serious illness takes away. The demand for Starlight’s programs continues to grow with over 600,000 child admissions to hospitals each year around Australia. Starlight currently only reaches ‘1 in 3’ of these children and their families. The money raised from our website sales will help give more of these children the opportunity to access and benefit from Starlight’s innovative programs.
